Preparation (Vanilla Sponge Cake):

1. Mix flour, sugar and 1 teaspoon baking powder in a bowl.

2. Add eggs, milk, butter and vanilla extract, then whisk until smooth.

3. Pour the batter into a greased cake tin.

4. Bake at 180°C for 30–35 minutes until golden and a skewer comes out clean.

5. Allow to cool before serving.
