Haldi powder, internationally known as turmeric, is a golden-yellow spice used in almost every Indian curry, such as Aloo Gobi, Dal Tadka, and Sambar. It's also used in drinks like "Golden Milk" and is considered particularly beneficial to health. Many Indian fathers drink a glass of warm milk with a little haldi in the evening after work, as it contains curcumin, which strengthens bones. Many people brush their teeth with coconut oil and haldi, believing that this can whiten teeth naturally if done long enough, but we can't guarantee its effectiveness.
