Preparation:

1. Soak 2 cups of Idli Rava and 1 cup of urad dal separately for 4–6 hours.

2. Grind the urad dal into a smooth batter and mix with the soaked Idli Rava.

3. Add salt and allow the batter to ferment overnight.

4. Steam in idli moulds for 10–12 minutes and serve with sambar and chutney.
