Biryani Masala

Legal Name: Biryani Spice Mix.

Ingredients: Coriander, cumin, red chillies, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves, nutmeg, turmeric, ginger, garlic, salt and mixed spices.

Nutritional values per 100 g: Energy: 1310 kJ / 313 kcal, Fat: 11.0 g, of which saturated fat: 2.1 g, Carbohydrates: 48.0 g, of which sugars: 3.0 g, Fibre: 23.0 g, Protein: 12.0 g, Salt: 13.5 g.

Preparation of Biryani Masala:
1. Fry sliced onions until golden brown and add ginger-garlic paste.
2. Add meat or vegetables with yogurt, tomatoes and 2–3 tablespoons of Biryani Masala, then cook well.
3. Layer with partially cooked basmati rice and drizzle with a little ghee.
4. Cover and cook on low heat until done, then serve hot as aromatic biryani.
