Preparation of Fresh Parwal / Pointed Gourd:
1. Wash the pointed gourds, trim the ends and cut them lengthwise or into slices.
2. Heat oil and sauté cumin seeds, onions and ginger-garlic paste.
3. Add the pointed gourd, turmeric, coriander powder, chilli powder and salt, then cook until tender.
4. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve as Parwal Sabzi with chapati or steamed rice.
